E-government

In the area of e-government (electronic public administration) Research Institute of Posts and Telecommunications conceptually solves especially questions of interoperability and safety. Help is provided to the public administration bodies with working out conceptions of the information systems development (according to the Act No. 275/2006 Coll.) with determination of the specific requirements on the standard and high-quality projects aimed at public administration electronization.

The Glossary of society informatisation
Annotation: Terminological dictionary (glossary) contains the most common terms from the area of society informatisation.

Methodical direction for creation and update of data standards catalogue for e-government of SR
Annotation: Proposal of methodical instruction for creating and updating the data standards catalogue for the electronic public administration in SR. The proposal contains principles and rules for creation and approving data elements set used in processes of data exchange.

Standards for information society
Annotation: Projects was aimed at interoperability and coherence of information communications systems of public administration via data standards. The project presents basic principles and approaches to creation of data standards and procedure proposals for creating and approving data standards.

Web sites accessibility monitoring
Annotation: The project focused on evaluation of accessibility of chosen public web sites (from .sk domain). It contains methodology on assessment of accessibility conformity of chosen web sites under WCAG 1.0 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) distinguishing three WAI priorities and the results of realises enquiry.

National e-government interoperability framework
Annotation: The project output presented a set of recommendations for national e-government interoperability framework including the architecture and related standards to support co-operation and coherence of information communications systems of public sector in Slovakia.

Information technologies security
Annotation: Project presented requirements needed for provision of IT systems security level that is adequate and sufficient for the standard protection needs. Proposal of security measures for the standard information technology systems can be considered as a project output.
